      I have had a treo 600 and later a 650, At the start it took me about two weeks to become useful with the keyboard and how to get the best out of the touch screen on the treo. I am not a iphone lover but I do believe in give a real review of the product and have gone thew many cell phone all having major problems. The interface will change all mobile phones for the better I am now using a linux based cell phone some short comings but every thing work no reset which is a major problem with smart phone.       I do not believe people are writing about this I am not getting the iphone but I do know that the parts are a small part of the cost in making a product r&d and Marketing are major player and just a few of the cost.       About a year ago I switched from windows xp to mac os I do not understand some of the comments about how great window desktop and how it meets user needs. Now with mac os I use my computer and do not spend all my time fixing windows. Now I use parallel for windows xp so I can use a few old progams and by the way xp under parallel runs beter than my del xps and I am only using a mac mini. The few things that will not work under parallel 3D game I can boot into bootcamp and the run just great. May 15 10:48 AM

      Need a big change in mobile phone and maybe apple will do it with thier new screen. I use my cell outside mostly. The sun make it hard to use and sometimes all I have is a gray screen. If the iphone with its 160 dpi and light control fixes this problem It will change the user environment and people will use it not only inside but any place. I have had about six good cell and 3 pda sony, moto, and treo nice inside but do not go outside. Try using your contact list outside, also Microsoft takes a long time to get things wright.       I had six pda and they can not be used in daylight, The last one is a treo 650 and even in a car the screen is to dim. This is understating how bad it is. I will be buying a iphone if you can just see it to use it. May 07 01:39 PM
